After a long year of being cooped-up inside, many students are itching to get out and see the world. Through the study abroad program at Clemson, the university provides a safe, secure environment for students to travel the world to learn about languages and cultures.
Clemson’s study abroad program offers a wide range of countries for students to travel to. Currently, the program has over 40 unique countries that students can visit. However, out of all the study abroad programs, the most popular one is to visit Italy.
While some students may view the study abroad program as out of their budget, Clemson works diligently to get students the most affordable experience possible. Through the summer study abroad program, the most popular program for students here at Clemson, students travel abroad for a range of $6,000 to $8,000 including tuition, fees, and accommodations.
Throughout the year, Clemson University as a whole sends approximately 450 students to study abroad for a semester and approximately 800 students on short-term or summer study abroad programs.
With the study abroad program, students have the opportunity to not only travel to new and exciting places, but students also have the opportunity to insert themselves into another culture and another language. By studying abroad, students learn the difficulties and experiences of people from all over the world. This allows students to continue to thrive and lead in the workplace and in the classroom.
