Clemson University Fire and EMS respond to a fire in Hendrix Student Center.
Yesterday, Clemson University Fire and EMS responded to a kitchen fire at Hendrix Student Center.
Around 5:10 p.m., a flame detector set off the alarm and students evacuated the building due to a small kitchen fire in Panda Express.
“The fire had been controlled with a fire extinguisher,” Davis Simpson, the University’s public safety communications director, told The Tiger.
“There was no damage and no one was injured,” he continued.
Students were able to return inside Hendrix by approximately 5:30 p.m.
