After five interest meetings, three weeks and one primary election, five campaigns have now been reduced to two.
Logan Young and Andrew Kwasny had a total of 2356 votes cast for them, 32.33 percent of the total ballots. Diamond Brown and Thomas Marshall had 1940 votes cast for them, 26.62 percent of the total ballots.
Young and Kwasny’s platform is labelled “Uproar” and features the three sections School Spirit, Academics and Community. The sections respectively focus on enhancing events and traditions, improving academic-related topics around campus and refining policies related to campus and beyond.
Brown and Marshall’s platform is labelled “Elevate.” The three main pillars, Raise, Empower and Soar, focus on increasing community events, tackling individuals problems for each of the seven colleges and improving small, everyday aspects of Clemson life, respectively.
The CUSG debate will be at 6 p.m. on March 5 in the Visitor’s Center.
