Clemson’s Pam Hendrix Center for Education Abroad announced on Monday, Nov. 8 that it would be tentatively reviving 60 study abroad programs for summer 2022. While most programs have been paused since March 2020 and are still limited, there will be more than 20 countries available to visit this summer.
Clemson’s study abroad programs come in two forms: Faculty-Directed and Third-Party. For summer programs, as well as short-term trips like those over winter and spring breaks, faculty members travel with the students and lead their courses. These are focused around the expertise of these faculty members and align closely with the classes they teach during the academic year.
There are 23 such programs being offered for Summer 2022. These include:

Appointments with academic advisors to discuss study-abroad opportunities are available through CU Navigate.
The other type of program offered is third-party, which are organized by providers outside of Clemson and welcome students from all across the country and the world. Fellow students would not necessarily be from Clemson, nor would faculty members. These different programs offer a wide range of subjects in a wide range of locations.
