Everette is ranked as the 26th best player and third-best cornerback in the class of 2022, according to 247 Sports.
Everette was committed to Clemson since Jul. 17 but recently decommitted on Dec. 10, following the announcement that Brent Venables was leaving the Tigers to become the head coach at Oklahoma University.
Everette is the first of the three top-100 recruits that decommitted from Clemson to commit to another school.
According to 247 Sports, edge rusher Jihaad Campbell is interested in joining Texas A&M or Alabama, while Keon Sabb is leaning towards committing to Michigan.
Experts from 247 Sports still believe that Sabb has a chance to recommit to Clemson, which would be a significant recruiting boost for the Tigers.
Sabb would rejoin some notable defensive backs in Clemson’s 2022 recruiting class, including Jeadyn Lukas and Toriano Pride.
