I’m watching the CU-FSU game and I’m appalled at the poor attendance for the last home game of the season. Clemson’s team is finally ranked, almost assured of that elusive NCAA tournament bid, and the students are no where in sight. I’ve heard more enthusiasm from high school crowds. Is it any wonder that Coach Brownell struggles to recruit top talented players who don’t want to play in a half empty Colosseum? This student body should be ashamed. I certainly am. For those who wonder why I’m not there, we live in Virginia. But when I was a student I never missed a home game in the “Cow Palace.”
