Brioso is leaving its downtown Clemson location, the restaurant’s owners announced on Facebook Saturday afternoon.
“It has been our pleasure to be a part of Clemson these past 10 years,” Brioso’s owners, Ray and Karan Stratford, wrote on Facebook. ”However, due to the prolonged construction projects affecting downtown foot and auto traffic, we find it necessary to relocate Brioso in the near future.”
The Stratfords did not state on Facebook when exactly the restaurant would be relocating or where. However, they did encourage people to check Brioso’s Facebook page or its website for updates.
Brioso is the second business to announce it’s leaving downtown Clemson in recent weeks. Mr. Knickerbocker closed its College Avenue location in May.
