As a student, I think we all experience this feeling or something similar to it.
With such busy days, it’s hard to find time to do the things that we are forced to do. Much less the things that we want to do. However, that does not mean that our wants are any less important.
In the midst of packed schedules, it is imperative to set aside time for yourself and things that make you happy outside of your school schedule. Make sure to set aside a time slot at some point in the week to do something for yourself. That way, this time is deliberate and intentional and won’t be seen as an offset to your schedule but rather a helpful addition.
And remember that personal time is not something you should feel guilty about. Instead, you should feel proud for prioritizing your mental health.
