Have you been searching for a group workout sweat session? Look no further than Campus Recreation’s Cycle Party, a 45-minute spin class that incorporates traditional cardio cycle, arm exercises and amped-up music. Each class is hosted by a certified student instructor who teaches rhythmic riding and coordinated choreography.
Known to be booked up in minutes, the 35 cycle classes offered each week are a popular choice among gymgoers. Located in the Douthit Hills cycle studio, Cycle Party houses state-of-the-art bikes and ultraviolet lighting that can be adjusted to the music.
For Lexy Flatau, a junior microbiology major, Cycle Party is her weekly getaway.
“It’s called Cycle Party for a reason,” she said. “The classes are a great brain break and allow me to have fun while getting a great workout.”
Cycle Party’s popularity has taken off in recent years, making Campus Recreation add additional classes each semester. Select theme, limited and combination classes, such as Barre Cycle, Cycle Yoga or Sunday Cycle, have been installed to keep up with the demand.
Whether you are a committed cyclist or looking to try your first group fitness class, Cycle Party welcomes all levels of experience. Sign up for Cycle Party on the Campus Recreation website and see why it’s the best workout class Clemson has to offer, right on Clemson’s campus.
