This week’s crime report features several alcohol violations as well as a spike in hit-and-runs. Six hit-and-runs were reported the week of Sept. 2 to Sept. 9, in addition to one vehicle theft report. Saturday night was relatively quiet in regards to alcohol violations, despite the Clemson versus Appalachian State game occurring on the same night, with only one violation located at TDs of Clemson. There were 9 alcohol violations in total for the week, spread out across the general area. Officers had the most alcohol violations on Thursday night, ranging from the Marathon gas station to downtown Clemson.
