University officials confirmed that Tigerama, the annual homecoming pep rally originally set for Friday, Sept. 27, has been postponed to Friday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m. The decision comes amid concerns over severe weather, especially the potential impacts of Tropical Storm Helene.
The event, which will take place in Memorial Stadium, is now scheduled to occur the day before Clemson’s home football game against the University of Virginia. X Ambassadors, the headline musical act, will still perform as planned following the festivities. All tickets purchased for the original date will be honored on the new date, with further ticket information available on the Tigerama website, according to an email from the University.
While Tigerama has been rescheduled, activities like the Central Spirit float build, and the Habitat for Humanity project on Bowman Field will continue as long as weather conditions permit. University officials are actively monitoring the storm’s trajectory and its possible effects on campus, and students are urged to sign up for CU Alerts and stay informed through local news sources.
As the new date approaches, ticket holders will receive updates via email to ensure they are well informed about any changes. For more information, fans can visit the Tigerama website.
