The Stanley Cup has taken the world by storm in recent years, and now it’s making a special stop at Clemson University. After kicking off its college tour back in September, Stanley has finally arrived at its 10th location: Clemson. The Stanley Studio H2O pop-up arrived at Bryan Circle on Oct. 21, running until 6 p.m. on Oct. 22.
As I arrived at the event, I was immediately greeted by a vibrant atmosphere filled with music, laughter and the excited chatter of students exploring the latest in Stanley products. The pop-up itself was designed to be visually appealing, with colorful displays creating the perfect backdrop for photos. It featured a selection of 10 popular Stanley products, showcasing the brand’s commitment to quality and style while also highlighting their functionality.
Once I took in the sights of the pop-up, I had the chance to chat with Tracy White, Stanley Studio H2O’s tour manager, who provided insight into the event’s purpose.
“It’s just a way for us to raise some awareness on campus … since Stanley is the craze with a lot of the college kids,” he shared. The pop-up not only celebrates Stanley’s bestsellers but also fosters a sense of community among students, encouraging them to engage with not only the brand but also each other.
Attendees had the opportunity to explore some of Stanley’s most iconic items, including the popular IceFlows and Pints. What set this event apart was the chance to personalize select products with free custom engraving — an exclusive offer usually available for an additional charge.
“We have 10 different products,” White noted, “and eight of them you can personalize.” This unique feature allows students to create custom gear that reflects their individual style and personality, making it a memorable keepsake from the event.
One of the highlights of the pop-up was Stanley’s new Cross Bottle, which has quickly gained popularity for being what some describe as “wearable water.” These bottles are perfect for college students’ busy lifestyles, seamlessly transitioning from the classroom to outdoor adventures. “Whether you’re hiking around campus, walking to class or actually going on vacation and taking hikes, it’s the perfect thing to have,” White said.
‘In addition to the engaging product offerings, the event featured giveaways, with Stanley providing Cross Bottles to lucky attendees each day. Plus, attendees received free tote bags with purchases and enjoyed a 10% discount on select products, making this pop-up an irresistible opportunity for anyone looking to enhance their hydration game.
The event not only highlights Stanley’s innovative products but also serves as a reminder of the importance of hydration for students navigating the demands of college life. Staying hydrated is crucial, especially with busy schedules filled with classes, extracurricular activities, and social events. The Stanley pop-up encourages students to invest in quality hydration solutions while enjoying a fun and engaging atmosphere.
