Dear Class of 2029,
Welcome to Clemson! I’m so happy to have the opportunity to introduce you to the wonderful place that you’ll call home for the next few years. Although it takes some time to settle in, I hope you’ll find that Clemson has everything you’re looking for in a college experience.
There are so many amazing traditions, experiences, connections and more that come with being a Clemson Tiger. While I’m only halfway through my collegiate career, I can say for certain that you’re in for some of the best experiences of your life. One thing I’ve learned, though, is that you have to be open to it.
Join as many clubs, organizations and extracurriculars as you can — you’ll find a guide in this issue of some offered — and put yourself out there! You might be uncomfortable for a little bit, but once you find your footing and settle into a routine, you’ll truly be able to appreciate everything Clemson has to offer.
In this issue, you’ll find tips on transitioning your wardrobe, places to eat, organizations to join, a sorority rush crash course, everything you need to know about sports, a guide on campus celebrities, Clemson’s best study spots and so much more!
My hope is that the articles our staffers have compiled will help you feel a little less overwhelmed as you start your new life as a Tiger. Whether you’re visiting Clemson for the first time or the 10th, there’s always something new to learn. I’m so excited for you to make some incredible memories — cherish them all!
Congratulations, and enjoy this issue!
