The Savannah Bananas announced that they will be returning to Clemson on Oct. 23 to face off against the Clemson baseball team.
This event will be the second time in two years the teams have matched up. Last year’s showing was an overall success. The game will be played again at Clemson’s Doug Kingsmore Stadium and follow the rules established by Jesse Cole and the Savannah Bananas program.
This will mark the third time the Bananas have traveled to Clemson, as they also played against the Party Animals in front of a sold-out crowd in Death Valley last spring.
Clemson lost 4-1 the last time it faced off against the Banana Ball All-Stars.
This year, the Bananas will expand their college tour, also stopping in Auburn to play against the Tigers’ baseball team on Oct. 25.
Tickets will be sold and distributed by the Bananas and will be available for sale at a later date. The live broadcast of the contest will also be shown exclusively on the Bananas’ YouTube channel.
