The City of Clemson Police Department is scheduled for an on-site assessment from March 1 through March 2, 2022, as part of a program to achieve state accreditation by verifying it meets professional standards.
Administered by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc. (SCLEA), the accreditation program requires agencies to comply with state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations, and support services.
