Upcoming Miss Homecoming Pageant
Students from different on-campus organizations will compete to be Miss Clemson University at this year’s Miss Homecoming Pageant later this month. The top ten finalists will go on to a final round at Tigarama, where a winner will be named, according to an announcement by the Clemson Undergraduate Student Government Activities committee.
The event will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 18 in the Brooks Center auditorium, with tickets on sale now for $10.
Tiger Rag Shag returns later this month
Let’s dance! The date for the annual Tiger Rag Shag has been announced to take place on Thursday of Homecoming week. Featuring a DJ, tented dance grass, and a cash bar, the function is free for all students looking to gather and shag dance on the Watt Lawn, according to a recent announcement from the CUSG Activities committee.
The dance starts at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20.
Continued delays for East Side Food Court restaurants
The Panda Express and second campus Chick-fil-A in the Hendrix Student Center continue to face setbacks, delaying the opening for another few weeks. The contractor had planned to complete the project a month ago but has experienced electrical issues, according to a recent announcement by CUSG.
