Another Tiger has headed for the exit doors, but this time on the offensive side.
According to The Clemson Insider, sophomore wide receiver Dacari Collins has left the team.
Through the Tigers’ first three games this season, Collins had just one reception.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound receiver stood out as a freshman last year, picking up 16 receptions for 221 yards in nine games.
With the loss of Collins, Clemson has 19 receivers on its roster for the rest of the season to choose from.
Collins is the second member to leave the team since the beginning of the season, joining linebacker Sergio Allen who left the team last week.
A four-star recruit in high school, the sophomore was the No. 32 wide receiver prospect in the class of 2021, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
He picked up offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn and Cincinnati but ultimately chose the Tigers as his destination.
