Constitution week events
On Sept. 17, Americans celebrated the 235th birthday of the US Constitution. Clemson held two events where students could learn more about America’s founding document as a dedication to the document’s legacy and to commemorate the foundation of America. On Sept. 19, Clemson students and staff heard from three Clemson faculty members who are considered experts regarding the US Constitution and the Supreme Court. On Sept. 20, Clemson hosted Dr. Michael Zuckert, an extensively published scholar and a constitutional studies professor at the University of Notre Dame.
New Dean of Honors College forums
Dean of the Honors College position finalists will be visiting the main campus from Sept. 26 through Oct. 3. Honors students are encouraged to join the forums either in person or remotely, and more information can be found on the Clemson Honors website. Recordings will be posted following the final candidates’ visits, and surveys for feedback will be distributed with the recordings. ESPN College GameDay traveling to Clemson
On Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. before the Clemson vs. NC State football game in Death Valley, ESPN College GameDay built by The Home Depot will be traveling to Clemson as a pre-game show broadcast by ESPN. It will take place on Bowman Field for students to attend on a first-come, first-served basis. The Clemson vs. NC State is seen as the biggest matchup of the week, with Death Valley Stadium tickets all sold out. The game will kick off at 7:30 p.m.
