Welcome to a special edition of the Clemson Sports Notebook! This upcoming weekend will be a busy one on the Clemson campus as six sports will be in action. Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know:

Football wraps up 2019 spring practice Saturday

The defending national champions will take the field for the first time since their 44-16 win over Alabama in Santa Clara, California as spring practice concludes with the 2019 Orange and White spring football game on Saturday.

Fans will have their first look at how the veterans have progressed through spring practice as well as the new look freshman including Joseph Ngata, Frank Ladson and Brannon Spector, all who have received rave reviews through spring practice. This game will provide the opportunity for fans to see a new-look defensive line with guys like Xavier Thomas and Xavier Kelly leading the charge up front this spring.

Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. Admission for the game is free and the game will be televised live by ESPN2.

Baseball hosts Georgia and Louisville

Monte Lee’s Tigers currently sit at 22-6 as they swept Virginia Tech in a three game series. Sunday’s game was the most competitive one as the Hokies pulled within a run, but the Tigers held on to win 12-9. They will host Georgia on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. before Louisville heads into Doug Kingsmore Stadium for the weekend series beginning Friday night at 6 p.m.

Once the spring football game wraps up, head over to DKS for Game Two beginning at 5 p.m. Sunday’s game will be played at noon.

Men’s tennis team hosts NC State and Louisville

Clemson currently sits 8-13 overall and 1-7 in ACC play, riding an eight-game losing streak following a 7-0 loss to Wake Forest this past Sunday.

The Tigers will host Louisville on Friday at 5 p.m. before NC State visits the Duckworth Family Tennis Center on Sunday. Admission for both games are free.

Women’s tennis team hosts Pittsburgh and Syracuse

Nancy Harris and the Clemson women’s tennis team is currently 8-12 overall and 2-8 in ACC play following games against Florida State and Duke this past weekend.

Clemson will host Duke on Friday at noon before Georgia Tech comes to town on Sunday at 3 p.m. Both games will be played inside the Duckworth Family Tennis Center on Sunday and admission is free.

Golf hosts Clemson Invitational

The Clemson Invitational begins Friday and lasts through Sunday. All rounds will be held at The Cliffs at Keowee Falls.

Men’s soccer hosts Duke

Before the spring football game Saturday, fans can head over to Riggs Field as Mike Noonan’s squad will take on Duke at 1:00 p.m. Admission is free.
Other important notes to know

• The clear bag policy will be in effect this weekend.

• Parking lots for the spring football game will open at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning

• Be a T.I.G.E.R. Field Day will be held on the lawn of Littlejohn Coliseum beginning at 10 a.m. running until 2 p.m. on Saturday.

• Clemson Athletics will hold a surplus sale on Saturday morning in the Burton Gallery which is inside Littlejohn Coliseum at 10 a.m..
