Between the stress of schoolwork and a global pandemic, who doesn’t need a good ice cream break? Serving frozen yogurt, ice cream, coffee and sorbet, Spill the Beans is located on North Clemson Ave behind Study Hall bar. Unable to eat dairy? No problem here, this sweet treat has got you covered with a variety of vegan options.

It’s no surprise that Spill the Beans won Best Ice Cream. The atmosphere inside is laid back and stress relieving, not to mention the wonderful aroma of coffee and ice cream being made. Due to the pandemic, Beans is to-go only, but we’ll be excited when it’s safe to finally head back in.

When asked about her feelings regarding the local ice cream parlor, Faith Fulmer, a freshman criminal justice major, says “I love their ice cream, it’s so smooth and creamy. I want to buy some of their merch to support them but I always forget.” 

Open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily, the beloved ice cream shop is great for grabbing a late night snack. Be sure to check them out and support local businesses, especially in these hard times.
