Are you looking for the taste of home cooking? SunnySide Cafe, one of Clemson’s top-rated breakfast and lunch eateries, is the ideal location for classic fare cooked with care. Featuring legendary breakfast classics like their B52 Bomber Wrap, shrimp and grits, omelets, Pecan Praline Stuffed French Toast and a whole slew of other combinations, they’re sure to have something for everyone.
Their lesser-known lunch menu features a number of delicious soups, sandwiches and wraps along with a selection of quesadillas that rival lunch elsewhere in the area.
Vassili Hartofilax, a wildlife and fisheries biology major, goes every Sunday with his parents.
“It’s my alma mater,” he explained. “My college experience wouldn’t have been the same without it. I’ve been too many times to count.”
SunnySide’s menu has been influenced by decades of countrywide travel and collaborations with dozens of chefs. Their motivation is to continue making some of the best-tasting, most unique foods available in the Upstate. Their casual atmosphere is a great location for a first date or food with friends, family or anyone else willing to try something new and delicious. But beware, trying it once is all that it takes to be hooked.
