Recently, I went to The Cheesecake Factory for the first time after hearing a number of people singing its praises. I ended up going to the one located in Greenville, South Carolina over Valentine’s Day weekend. It was incredibly busy due to the holiday, but it was overall a very good experience.
First and foremost, despite it being busy, we had a reservation and were immediately seated. I would recommend making a reservation for this restaurant due to the pandemic, as they do have a lot of tables closed to follow social distancing guidelines.The hostess staff was also very friendly.
Our waitress was pretty quick, which was impressive since she was incredibly busy. She was attentive and checked on us as often as she was able to. She was nice and did her job well.
The only bad part about this experience was how long the food took to come out, which was likely due to an increased amount of business. This was only a concern because we had another reservation afterward that would be cancelled if we did not make it within five minutes of our scheduled time. Despite this setback, the food was pretty good. I had the filet mignon and mashed potatoes. The filet was nothing short of amazing! It was probably one of the top five steaks I have ever had from a restaurant. The potatoes were just alright, but the steak more than made up for them. I’d rate my entree an 8/10 overall, taking off only for the time and potatoes.
The highlight of the experience was obviously the cheesecake. I had the Oreo Dream Extreme cheesecake, and I absolutely loved it, despite not being a big fan of oreos. I was already pretty full from my meal, but it was delicious nonetheless. I was unable to finish it, but it was the best cheesecake I have ever had. I would definitely recommend it and rate it a solid 10/10. If I could order this regularly, I would definitely do it!
Anytime you happen to be in Greenville, or anywhere with a Cheesecake Factory and feel like having a nice meal, I’d recommend going to The Cheesecake Factory. I would rate my overall experience a 9/10. I will definitely be back in the future. This was a great meal and the restaurant exceeded my expectations!
