The Clemson Student Funding Board is in search of new members for next semester. The board works closely with Clemson upper-level faculty, and it relies on the voices of the students who are a part of it. Students are responsible for the oversight and allocation of approximately $1.6 million each year, all of which goes to student organizations across campus.
The Office of Student Involvement and Leadership is spearheading the changes related to the student funding board, and frequent updates are given to students through the online student organization database, TigerQuest. This frequency and transparency of information is a welcomed change after the Student Organization Policy proposal was not released to students until it was leaked by WeRoar, a Facebook watchdog group concerning Clemson affairs.
The Student Funding Board Application lists the responsibilities of the job, along with details of the funding board and its functions. The application for the position is linked below, and it would be an excellent opportunity for student experience.
