The Tiger has been roaring for Clemson University in print since 1907.
During those many years, we have had the privilege to cover a variety of subjects and historical events that have built Clemson up to what it is today. From covering new academic buildings, to new presidents and even a National Championship, we have had a front row seat to all of the changes occurring at Clemson University and across the world. With these changes comes the need for a new way of thinking and a better way to meet the needs of our readers.
That is why The Tiger, along with many newspapers across the nation, will be changing to a completely online format for the foreseeable future. As the world around us continues to change, we need to adapt so that we can best get our readers the information that they need and deserve. By going digital, we will be able to report, write and share content quicker than ever before.
While we all love the printed medium of a newspaper, the staff looks forward to the endless possibilities for growth and creativity that an online presence affords us. We want to thank our loyal readers, students and alumni who have supported The Tiger over the years.
The Tiger has been roaring for 111 years, and we won’t be stopping anytime soon.
