Clemson’s chapter of Turning Point USA will be hosting former White House Press Secretary and current Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany on Saturday, April 30 in Old Main.
McEnany served as President Donald Trump’s last press secretary for 288 days between April 2020 and January 2021. She plans to talk about the journey that led her to the White House as well as her experiences since departing over a year ago.
“She is a phenomenal speaker,” said Taylor Rogers, president of the chapter. “We encourage all students to attend even if they may not agree with her political stance. She has a unique perspective due to her experience with media and journalism.”
McEnany currently serves as a co-host of Fox News’s show “Outnumbered” and as a political commentator for other programs.
Tickets can be reserved by following the link included in the bio of Clemson Turning Point’s Instagram page @clemsontpusa. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. and the event will begin at 2:30 p.m.
The event is scheduled to last an hour with 30 minutes allotted for a question-and-answer period with the audience. Questions can be submitted by ticketholders prior to the event by email.
