Clemson United’s 2022 regular season schedule is set in stone.
Coming off a National Championship, the Tigers will play three exhibition games before hosting Indiana in a historic season opener, which will take place on August 26 at 7 p.m. at Historic Riggs Field.
The Tigers wanted to start their season with a matchup with a team of the same elite caliber.
“It was paramount to provide our fans with an opening matchup that reflects the elite level of this program, and it is important to begin our title defense with a competitive battle,” said head coach Mike Noonan.
The Tigers and the Hoosiers have not met since 2012, when the Hoosiers bested the Tigers, 3-0.
Clemson and Indiana have met 11 times in the programs’ respective histories, with the Hoosiers leading, 6-4-1.
In total, Clemson will play in eight ACC matchups, including road games to North Carolina and Pittsburgh on the road and Virginia at home. The Tigers will also host North Carolina State for their final regular season game on Oct. 28.
