Dear Tigers,
As I begin my senior year, I am honored to welcome you all to these hills for the second time as editor. When I look back at my Clemson experience so far, the cliché “time flies when you’re having fun” has never felt more fitting.
My first day at Clemson feels like it was just yesterday. As some of my fellow seniors may concur, perhaps it is because our experience was unlike most. Our first year was cut short due to the pandemic, and our second year was almost entirely remote. However, through all the turbulence came tenacity and growth; growth that has given us the memories of a lifetime.
For the class of 2026, the days that now lie ahead as a Clemson Tiger will be some of the most unforgettable in your life. The feeling that everything is new may fade, but what will follow will be a lasting connection between you, this institution and your Clemson Family.
To give you a few words of wisdom, I turn to something my father has always told me: don’t forget to stop every once in a while and absorb the moment. Sit back, smile and take it all in. These few short years of your life only happen once, and they’ll go by in a blink. But don’t worry – by choosing Clemson, you have set yourself up to have an experience you will remember forever.
Best of luck, be well and Go Tigers!
