GoFundMe pages have been created for two Clemson staff members.
Bobby Roach, who has been a member of the Clemson University custodial staff for 11 years, had his truck stolen from outside Brackett Hall last week.
According to the GoFundMe, “Bobby, someone who lives paycheck to paycheck, takes care of his 11 year old daughter Morgan. He also supports his handicapped brother. That truck was his livelihood. Taking care of a child and person with special needs is no small task for someone who lives paycheck to paycheck.”
The goal is to raise $5,000. At the time of publication, more than half of that amount has been raised. You can also drop off any spare tools in 138 Brackett Hall.

The second GoFundMe is for Gary Whitner, who is also a member of the Clemson University custodial staff.
According to the GoFundMe page, Whitner “was involved in a serious wreck on I-85 Monday morning. Gary is banged up, but basically o.k., though his car was totaled.”
The goal is to raise $5,000. At the time of publication, a little more than $3,000 has been raised.
