“Parks and Recreation”
Classic, always funny and easy to get into.
“The Office”
Personally, I found/find it much harder to get into “The Office” than “Parks and Rec” — the humor is different and it’s a little slower paced. However, it’s such a classic that I feel like everyone needs to at least have the gist of this one.
“Gilmore Girls”
Such a feel-good show! Girly, simple and all the feels.
“New Girl”
Always good when you need a laugh, and the comedy is a little bit more in line with what we see in pop culture, as opposed to a show like “The Office.”
“Friends”
Perhaps the classic of classics. What else needs to be said?
“The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”
Now we are getting into some of the less obvious stuff. This show is about a woman who has been rescued from the doomsday cult that she was held in for 15 years trying to find her way in New York City. Never disappoints.
“Queer Eye”
This show is blowing up, so you should check it out simply to see what all the hype is about! I think you’ll be happy you did.
“Parenthood”
If you liked “Gilmore Girls,” you’ll love “Parenthood.” While still giving those feel good vibes, this show makes you think about how you value family, friends and all close relationships in your life.
“Ozark”
Drama and suspense. Can’t say anything more—see for yourself.
“Impractical Jokers”
Okay, so you might not think of this as the typical Netflix binge, but c’mon. Each episode will have you on the floor laughing and you can pick up at any point. Isn’t this just the kind of thing that we need a little more of in life?
