Pumpkin spice world

Starbuck’s pumpkin spice latte (also known as PSL) may have returned August 28,but now that we’ve hit October, pumpkin spice is everywhere. There is a strong argument that Starbucks is the mastermind behind the madness that is pumpkin spice. However, it seems like pumpkin spice has taken over fall and become an entirely new season by itself. Before we know it, we’ll be living in pumpkin spice houses, driving pumpkin spice cars, and listening to pumpkin spice music. Sound crazy? Not really once I tell you some of the most intense pumpkin spice products on the market now. If you’re a pumpkin spice fan (PSF), get up and go try these as fast as you can. If not, sit back, relax and have a good laugh.
1. Pumpkin spice cereal. This one definitely isn’t the strangest thing on this list, but you may be surprised to know the range of cereals offering the flavor: Special K, Cheerios, Life, Frosted Mini Wheats, Frosted Flakes, the list goes on. Y’all really out here starting the day with pumpkin spice cereal and washing it down with a PSL. Do you still have taste buds, or have they morphed into individual grains of pumpkin spice? Let me know.
2. Pumpkin spice protein powder. Yep, this is a real thing. There are numerous brands that sell pumpkin spice flavors, some seasonally and others year-round (oh boy). Do you really want to be ~getting swoll~ at the gym with a protein-packed PSL in your hand? Just a thought.
3. Pumpkin spice burgers. You have got to be a hard core pumpkin spicer to support this. I have seen these recipes on multiple websites and food blogs. In short, cook your burger how you like and top with a blend of mayonnaise, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice. I have also seen the option to add bacon and brown sugar, in case you are just that #extra.
4. Pumpkin spice burritos. These are words that do not belong in the same sentence, but this dessert recipe is all over the Internet. Sometimes called pumpkin pie burritos, this “treat” involves pie crust filled with pumpkin pie filling topped with cinnamon sugar and caramel.
5. Pumpkin spice body lotion. You know, just in case you didn’t eat enough pumpkin spice products, you can lather yourself in the scent. Are you really a PSF if you don’t reek of it all of October?
It’s already a pumpkin spice world. We’re just living in it.
