    3-1: Clinton v. Sanders

Hillary Clinton achieved a massive victory against fellow Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders in the South Carolina Democratic primary this Saturday (Feb. 27). Although Clinton is currently leading the Democratic primary with three states to Sanders’ one, this was her first big win; her victories in the Nevada and Iowa caucuses were narrow with 5.3% and .3% margins (respectfully) between her and the Vermont senator.
While Clinton had plenty of reason to celebrate, she declared in her victory speech, “We are going to compete for every vote in every state. We are not taking anything, and we’re not taking anyone, for granted.”
In his concession speech, which was over 45 minutes long, Sen. Sanders congratulated the former secretary of state on her victory, but also made it clear that he was only looking forward; some sources say it was more of a rally by the end.
The Democratic primary is far from over; all we know right now is that the winner will be at least 68 years old… and white.
