Given that the third – and final – debate took place past Wednesday night; I started thinking about who will be the 45th President of the United States. I wasn’t thinking of who I’m going to cast a ballot for because honestly, I’m not concerned with whom it will be; I’m anxious about who will be the First Lady.
Donald Trump has the American people in mind because he has graciously had three ladies: Ivana Trump, Marla Maples and lastly Melania Trump. Melania Trump is the best Sevnica (her hometown in Slovenia) has. However, she is more than a model who married the Donald. Melania is also graceful with “Command C” and “Command V”. I don’t understand Melania, which is why I don’t know if I could trust her to be the First Lady or to decide which plates to have at dinner (always the Roosevelt China pattern). Melania could be the perfect First Lady considering she speaks five languages and has a degree in architecture and design. She is beautiful and intelligent, but she has broken the heart of America with her decisions in the Trump campaign. Donald, I think wife one or wife two would have been more beneficial to you.
Deciding which First Lady you would choose is similar to deciding if Trump would have his first or second wife back – you don’t want either one but a decision must be made.
Hillary Clinton will not be the first woman in the Oval; Bill had many on the famous oak desk. The question is: can Bill Clinton be the First Gentleman? This depends on how one defines that role. I would honestly love for the Clintons to be in the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue. Why? Because I love Scandal. Shonda Rhimes’ Scandal and is quite similar to the life of Hillary. In Scandal the President has an affair. Because the First Lady was enraged following the affair, the President became the man-child he is and gave his wife, the First Lady, his support in her running for president. Does this sound familiar to you? I would think so. I’m hoping for Hillbilly (Hillary + Bill) to be elected in November for the laughs.
Truthfully, Melania and Bill will not create happiness in the hearts of Americans; America needs a Jackie Kennedy. The question the First Lady or First Gentleman needs to ask themselves is WWJD (What would Jackie do?). The answer is: pearls are always appropriate.
