The Clemson women’s golf opened their spring 2024 season 1-2 in match play

On a weather-altered weekend, the Clemson women’s golf opened its spring 2024 season 1-2 in match play at the Therese Hession Regional at the Palos Verde Golf Club in California.

The three-round tournament kicked off on Feb. 3. San Jose State took the first match 3-1-1, with Clemson’s Isabella Rawl taking the win in her pairing. Clemson pulled out a win against Georgetown in a 2-1-2 finish. Concluding with Arizona State, the Tigers fell 4-1-0, with Chloe Holder taking the solo win for Clemson.

Rawl earned herself an eagle in her two wins in the tournament. Annabelle Pancake, who tied one match and won another, made 10 birdies for the weekend.

Due to the inclement weather, the fourth round of the tournament was not played.

The women’s team will travel to Melbourne, Florida, from Feb. 18-20, where they will play in the Moon Golf Invitational hosted by ACC opponent Louisville.
