Clemson women’s soccer wrapped up its 2022 regular season last week, finishing 8-4-5. Now ranked outside the Top 25 in the United Soccer Coaches poll, the Tigers will not compete in the ACC Tournament for the first time since 2017.
Following a 0-0 tie against Pittsburgh on Oct. 27, the Tigers will still have an opportunity to make the NCAA Tournament when team selections are made on Nov. 7.
Last season, The Tigers finished 12-7-1 and made it through to the ACC semifinals, where they lost to top-seeded Virginia.
While the lack of an ACC Tournament appearance is not what head coach Eddie Radwanski wanted, he and his team will continue to work on their communication and fieldwork in hopes of receiving their ninth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
