Clemson tight end Braden Galloway (88) celebrates with former quarterback DJ Uiagalelei (5) against S.C. State on Sep. 11, 2021 at Memorial Stadium.

Death Valley will be draped in white this weekend for the second wedding of former Clemson tight end Braden Galloway and influencer Mackenzie Grimsley, both recent alumni of the University.

The couple, who shot to fame on TikTok in 2020 for their loved-up posts and funny videos, had an intimate ceremony in Malibu, California, this past weekend. Guests included recent graduates like K.J. Henry, as well as Clemson legends like Trevor Lawrence and Tee Higgins.

“I’m super pumped to hit the field again,” one of Galloway’s former teammates said. It is unclear if he is aware the field will be in use for vow exchange, not deep throws.

Now, the couple plans on throwing an elaborate party at Memorial Stadium to celebrate their past. Galloway, a 2021 graduate, recorded 495 yards and three touchdowns during his time in orange and purple. More notably, Grimsley earned the title of “Real Housewife of Death Valley” for her commitment to gameday outfits and posts.

Grimsley will cycle through four dresses throughout the night.

The field will be covered to allow for a dance floor, and local Clemson artist Connor Sweeny will open the night with live music. A DJ will be playing EDM Tiger Rag remixes later in the evening.

“This is exactly what we intend for the athletic facilities to be used for,” an athletics department representative said. “We’re a Clemson family, after all.”

The event will be closed to the public, but those who are interested can watch through the gates under the scoreboard.
