I started working for the newspaper in the fall of 2019. I started on staff as a news and Outlook layout editor, and then two years later, I stepped into the role of Outlook editor. Through the past four years, I have had the opportunity to experience so much and meet so many people.  
As Outlook editor, I had the chance to watch a section that had basically just been me and one other member blossom and grow to twice the size and begin producing content I only dreamed of seeing us produce. In my time as Outlook editor, we have started producing SpeakUp!, Tiger’s Two Cents, the letter from the Editor and the Editorial column.
I have had the chance to interact with the Clemson community in so many wonderful ways; from receiving letters to interviewing community members, I have found connections that will last a lifetime.
I am so grateful for the people I’ve come to know while working here. I could try to list all of the people I’m thankful for, but I’d run out of space, so for the sake of content, thank you to all of the people I’ve been able to work with. Each and every person I’ve met at The Tiger has made a lasting impact on my life. I would be a very different person if I hadn’t made the decision to join this organization, and I’m so grateful that I did. 
I have had the opportunity to work with three different editor-in-chiefs, and I know each one is destined for greatness, two of whom are already on their way.
I’ve also had the chance to work with so many wonderful writers in Outlook, two of whom are now taking over as Outlook leadership. I am so proud of them and know that they, too, will achieve amazing things. I am also so incredibly grateful for Ms. Wanda Johnson, the Director of Student Media at Clemson University. She has relentlessly fought for us and has worked so hard to ensure each and every member of student media has someone in their corner. We would never have been able to achieve what we did without her. So to her, thank you.
I am looking forward to graduation in August and am excited to pursue further education in graduate school. I can’t wait to pick up my copy of the orientation issue in the fall and hope to be able to support The Tiger through its continued growth.
I am going to miss being in the office and seeing everyone so much, but I am so happy that I have all these wonderful memories to look back on.
