This week in Clemson Athletics, men’s and women’s basketball resume play on the court while men’s and women’s tennis continue pushing towards the postseason. Track and field also continues its 2019-2020 campaign as well.
On the hardwood, the men’s basketball team returns home to face Wake Forest on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on the ACC Network. The Tigers are seeking their first ever season with victories over all four Tobacco Road schools, having already defeated Duke, UNC and N.C. State earlier this season. Following Tuesday’s game, Clemson will travel to No. 11 Louisville on Saturday. Tipoff will be at 2 p.m. on RSN. The Tigers will be looking for their second consecutive victory over a top-25 team.
The women’s basketball team will be in action on Thursday night in a pivotal game on the road against Miami at 6:30 p.m. on the ACC Network. The Tigers will be looking for their third consecutive win as they press to stay in the ACC tournament and potential NCAA tournament race. Clemson will stay on the road in conference play with a trip to Virginia Tech on Sunday at 1 p.m. on RSN.
Men’s tennis looks to stay undefeated this weekend as the Tigers host Auburn at 6 p.m. on Friday night before facing off with Georgia Southern (1 p.m.) and The Citadel (6 p.m.) in a doubleheader on Saturday. On the women’s side, the Tigers look to also stay undefeated as Clemson hosts a doubleheader on Saturday starting with UNC-Charlotte at 11 a.m. and Kennesaw State at 3 p.m.
The Clemson Track and Field team looks to build momentum after its successful meet this past weekend as the Tigers will host the Bob Pollock Meet on Friday and Saturday at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Complex.
Clemson Athletics also looks forward to the spring semester with the arrival of baseball and the inaugural softball season. Rowing and men’s and women’s golf will also be in action again in the coming weeks.
