Glen Falls is another popular place just a quick drive from the town, where a gorgeous multi-tiered waterfall hides along a leisurely 2-mile hike. Sections of the Bartram Trail cut all across the region and provide perfect opportunities for backpacking or day camping. The various waterways cutting through the area make for perfect rafting and canoeing as well for more adventurous visitors.
Those looking for an extended stay in more established accommodations might enjoy the Highlands Inn. Located in the center of Main Street, this charming hotel can prove hard to reserve because of its picturesque styling and gorgeous views all around the city.
