Clemson volleyball swept Syracuse on Sunday to win their second ACC matchup at Jervey Gym.
The Tigers honored their seniors as they began to close out their season, and senior Aźyah Dailey led the team in one of her final games as a Tiger.
The Tigers looked dominant in the first set of the match, which they won 25-14. Dailey hit an even .500, and the team had 15 kills. With 14 digs in the set, Clemson was able to take the first set easily.
Dailey had five more kills in the second set, and freshman Neea-Maria Joki had two blocks along with three kills and a hitting percentage of .600. Clemson had four aces in the set, two coming from redshirt sophomore Maggie Patterson. The Tigers took the second set 25-14 with all the momentum on their side heading into the third.
To close out the match, Dailey had four out of the 10 kills in the third set. Senior libero Devan Taylor served the lone ace in the match and had seven digs to help end the match against the Orange. Dailey was able to put up four blocks in the third set, setting a career-high for blocks in a match on her senior day. Clemson went on a 6-3 run to close out the third set and win it 25-23.
Clemson will travel to Coral Gables, Florida, on Friday to take on Miami at 7 p.m. The Tigers will be back in Jervey Gymnasium one last time this season on Nov. 29 to face North Carolina at 7 p.m.
