Clemson volleyball welcomed Florida State to Jervey Gym to kick off conference play, but ultimately fell short of remaining undefeated. Despite a 12-0 start to the season, the Tigers lost 3-1 to the Seminoles in the conference opener.
Clemson put up a fight in set one, losing 25-20, but went back and forth with Florida State until the Seminoles could pull away towards the end of the set. The Seminoles went on a five-point run, allowing them to close the set. Kennedy Wagner, Mia Moore and Mia McGrath each had four kills in the first set, which strongly contributed to the close game.

Clemson hung on to its momentum heading into the fourth set, but came up short, losing 20-25. The Tigers hit .250, their highest all match, but the Seminoles were able to hold on and finish with a 3-1 win.
