Clemson was already scheduled to play Georgia at a neutral site in Charlotte, North Carolina. Now, that the game will be played in Wembley Stadium, the site has become even more neutral. The Late Late Show with James Corden has already been in contact with Clemson about James Corden’s parents doing a feature with the team. The segment will include Corden’s parents teaching Dabo Swinney how to speak in a British accent and how to have high tea. Swinney is reportedly very excited about the news and specifically mentioned his enthusiasm for sightseeing on the double decker busses. James Skalski, on the other hand, is most excited to go to Buckingham Palace and see the guards with the big hats.
In preparation for this game, Clemson and Georgia players will be required to take a British history class this summer. If players do not get at least a B in the class, they will not be allowed to make the trip over the pond to England.
After a disappointing loss to Ohio State, Clemson heads into the 2021 season ready to fight their way back to another national championship. What better way to kick off the season than in London!
