Conveniently located near the intersection of Tiger Boulevard and Old Greenville Highway, Palmetto Spirits has been voted the premier liquor store in Clemson, South Carolina.
“The manager is nice, all the workers are nice and they have a very good selection,” one student said.
Palmetto Spirits has operated since 2010, shortly after the YNK bar and club that occupied the space closed down.
The popular store offers a wide variety of liquors, including discreet mini liquor bottles that are known locally as shooters. The store also stocks select hard seltzers.
“Having a creative inventory helps to cater to the Clemson community as a whole,” according to owner Jon Martin.
Palmetto Spirits is known for its ideal location across from Publix Super Market, which puts it close to campus and student housing, according to a customer.
Palmetto Spirits is open Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
