Once again, R.M. Cooper Library takes the crown as Clemson University’s Best Study Spot. For the better part of a decade, Cooper Library has dominated any other candidate due to its vast array of resources and central location on campus.
The library allows students to reserve study rooms of varying sizes and has six floors organized by volume, offering students the choice of an optimal spot for quiet individual studies for midterms and finals or a brainstorming session for a group project.
Along with six floors of distinct volume and seating, the library boasts a Starbucks, the Adobe MakerSpace and access to knowledgeable people and resources, including the Writing Lab and CCIT. There’s no other place on Clemson’s campus that provides so many features all in one place. It might be a long time before Cooper Library’s crown begins to slip.
While being the most popular study spot, Cooper Library is also complemented by a convenient P.O.D. Market that sits next to its main entrance. The market is a convenient stop when you enter to get any food and drink to set your study session off right.
Here you can find candy, energy drinks for late-night study sessions or pre-made ramen bowls ready to heat up in the microwave that the market provides. The library’s P.O.D. Market is a valuable asset to utilize, and Clemson students have shown their appreciation by voting it as the University’s Best P.O.D. Market.
