It started with three and has come down to two — two CUSG presidential campaigns that is.
The Mason Foley and Logan Young campaign received 37.76 percent of the votes during the primary election on Feb. 28, with a total of 2078 ballots being cast for them. The Carey Turner and Connor McCormick ticket followed in second, receiving 31.31 percent (1723 votes).
“Thank you to everyone that has supported us this campaign season,” Mason Foley and Logan Young said in an email to The Tiger. “We are looking forward to hearing your input on how we can better advocate for all students. We are determined to finish strong and excited for the future of Clemson!”
The CUSG presidential debate is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6 at 6 p.m. in the Strom Thurmond auditorium.
The general election will take place on Wednesday, March 7. During that election, students will also vote for student senate and on a referendum to update the CUSG impeachment protocols.
Look to The Tiger for further updates, including comments from both campaigns.
Note: Both campaigns have been reached out to for comment.
