Before Clemson football’s home opener on Saturday, Sept. 9, Clemson leaders cut the ribbon on the new Tiger Walk feature outside of Memorial Stadium.

Head coach Dabo Swinney, Athletic Director Graham Neff and Clemson President Jim Clements took part in the Tiger Walk ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 9 to applause from hundreds of fans.

The Tigers will look for their second win of the 2023 season when they take on FAU at home at 8 p.m. on Sept. 16.

The Tiger Walk tradition was started by coach Swinney in 2008 in an attempt to improve fan interaction.

The new Tiger Walk was part of the Phase 2 renovation to Memorial Stadium. The renovations also include upgraded home and visitor locker rooms, along with parking improvements.

Fans can watch the Tiger Walk again next week and the following week as the team has two more home games this month against Florida Atlantic University and Florida State University.

The iconic Tiger Walk takes place about two hours and 10 minutes before every home game. During the walk, Swinney, the full Clemson team and staff walk 100 yards from the Lot 5 parking into their locker room area.
