Clemson Alumni Association to host Ring Week Jan. 23-25
The Clemson Alumni Association will be hosting the Spring 2024 Ring Week from Jan. 23-25 at the Clemson Alumni Center. Both undergraduate and graduate students will have the opportunity to purchase rings during Ring Week with specific requirements. Undergraduate students who have completed 90 or more earned hours on their academic transcripts are eligible to order a ring, while graduate students who have completed half of their required hours in their degree program for graduation are eligible to order, according to an announcement email sent out to students from the Clemson Alumni Association.
Students must make an appointment to purchase their ring, and an email will be sent out to eligible students in mid-January. The ring ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 14, where students will receive their rings at Littlejohn Coliseum.
Gantt Multicultural Center to host MLK Day Events
The Gantt Multicultural Center will be hosting programs for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Celebration at Clemson University from Jan. 13-17. The events are as follows:
Jan. 13: Multicultural Student Leader Roundtable (RSVP required)
Jan. 15: Day of Service (Registration required)
Jan. 16: 42nd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Keynote Program
Jan. 17: Table for Eight: Interfaith Community Dinner (RSVP required).

Brooks Center to host the Orpheus Orchestra with pianist on Jan. 21
The Brooks Center for the Performing Arts is set to host the Orpheus Orchestra with pianist on Jan. 21 from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Brooks Theatre. The event is free to all students, community members and faculty. The Grammy Award-winning Orpheus Chamber Orchestra has recorded over 70 albums on all major classical labels, toured 46 countries across four continents, and collaborated with many soloists, according to the Clemson Events calendar.
SE Championship Bull Riding to take place Jan. 12
The SE Championship Bull Riding competition will take place at the T. Ed Garrison Arena on Friday, starting at 8 p.m. There will be 35 rides with a champion crowned, along with barrel racing.
