Tuesday, 10:35 a.m.: City of Clemson Police Chief Jorge Campos told The Tiger that there were no injuries involved in the incident and it is still under investigation. He had no further comment at that time.
Tuesday, 12:02 a.m.: Following the original CU Alert, Clemson Univerity sent an additional message stating that the “reported gunshots has been canceled” and that “normal operations have resumed.”

Clemson City Police responded to “gunshots off-campus” at a residence on Spencer Street Monday night, according to a CU Alert.
Clemson University sent the alert at 10:16 p.m., warning people to “avoid the area.” When The Tiger arrived at the scene at 10:55 p.m., several police officers were present, entering and exiting the residence. One City of Clemson Police officer declined to give a comment at the scene but told The Tiger that Chief Jorge Campos would provide a statement Tuesday morning.
Multiple police vehicles were on-site. From 10:55 to 11:05 p.m., when The Tiger was at the scene, there was no ambulance present. What appeared to be police tape outlined an area in front of the residence.
