Nationwide cake bakery chain Nothing Bundt Cakes is opening its doors in Clemson.
Nothing Bundt Cakes will officially open its doors on Dec. 19. A grand opening is set for Jan. 15, 2026, at 12 p.m. in its new Hartwell Village location.
The week of its grand opening, the store will offer sales from Monday to Thursday, featuring 20% off for first responders, healthcare employees and city employees. On Friday, 20% of sales will go to Project Hope of Clemson. Finally, on Saturday, the first 300 guests will receive confetti bundtlets.
The store originated in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1997, with two women who wanted to share a little love with their friendship.
As of March 2025, the brand has expanded to 697 locations across the United States and Canada, with the closest one to Clemson located in Greenville, South Carolina.
“We knew that bringing the product to the area would help spread the joy to more guests, especially since the closest location now is Greenville, we know that is a long haul to get there,” Tatum Tinsley, Nothing Bundt Cakes general manager, told The Tiger.

Clemson has had a rich history with the equally rich bundt cakes. In an interview, Dabo revealed that he met the original store owners and leased their second location in Las Vegas to them in the early 2000s after he was released from coaching at Alabama, according to The Greenville Journal.
Dabo has believed in the cake business since visiting the founders at the first bakery they opened. In a twist of fate, they have opened yet another store all the way across the country.
The cake bakery is home to 10 gourmet flavors, plus some seasonal flavors, each available in various sizes and party styles, including types of wedding and birthday cakes. The new store manager’s favorite flavors are the Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip and the White Chocolate Raspberry.
All of the moist bundtlet cakes are covered in a signature buttercream frosting. Tinsley invites parents and students in the Clemson area to consider the treats as a way to celebrate birthdays and special events.
