Less than 24 hours after defeating Florida State, Clemson men’s basketball forward Hunter Tyson has been officially diagnosed with a broken clavicle, according to a press release by athletics.
Tyson suffered the injury in the first half of last night’s game against Florida State in which he did not return to the court.
According to the press release, there is no current timetable for his return.
The senior is fourth in scoring for the Tigers with 10.4 points per game and is third in rebounds with 5.6 per game.
Clemson currently sits ninth in the ACC with a 12-9 record, so the team will need to continue to battle without Tyson.
With a difficult four-game stretch ahead that includes games versus North Carolina, Duke and Notre Dame, Tyson will be severely missed.
