Clemson announces starting rotation for opening weekend

Clemson pitcher Geoffrey Gilbert throws a pitch against Notre Dame. 

Clemson baseball will start its season this Friday, Feb. 18, at 4 p.m. hosting the Indiana Hoosiers. 

The Tigers have their starting pitching lined up for the three-game series. 

Friday: RHP Mack Anglin 

Saturday: RHP Nick Clayton 

Sunday: Nick Hoffmann

Anglin led the team in strikeouts last season with 75, and was 2nd in innings pitched with 56.1. 

Meanwhile, Clayton had the most wins last season with six, while Hoffmann finished with the 2nd most wins with four and was 3rd in innings pitched. 

Saturday’s game will be played at 3 p.m,. and Sunday’s game will be at 1 p.m.
